A Great Start!

We have already had such fun in our first three days together! What a sweet group of kids!  We have read several “back to school” books and talked about how it’s okay to be nervous about starting a new school year.  Any trepidations are easing as we begin to learn first grade routines and build community in our classroom. One way we are doing this is by having a “super student” of the day. The super student is interviewed about some of their favorite things, then each child writes and draws about what they’ve learned about the new friend.  We are all excited to learn more about each other!
