Our first week...

What a wonderful start to the year! This is a great group of kids! The past three days the children have been learning the routines and expectations of first grade, building community within our classroom, and reviewing some kindergarten skills. We will continue this work next week, and start new learning in literacy, math, and science. Today we began learning about the parts of an insect, with a focus on bees.  Ask your child to tell you more!
