Welcome Kindergarten Families!

Hello! Welcome to our class blog! I'm really excited to meet all of you and teach your beautiful, amazing children! This is a site designed to help me share what we are doing in the classroom, announce upcoming events, and keep you otherwise informed about kindergarten. Please check back regularly in order to keep up to date with all we do. I will also be communicating with paper handouts in your child's school/home folder, as well as emails through "MailChimp". If you look to the right, you will find more information on the side bar of the blog such as the "Upcoming Events" and "Specials Classes" posts. I have kept my previous posts from the last two years (first grade and kindergarten) to give you a sense of past activities, field trips, and learning we have done. Union School will be sending out a permission for you to sign to allow (or not) your child's picture to be posted on the web. Children's names are never connected to the photo. Please feel free to share this blog with friends, grandparents, aunts, uncles, etc. who would like to see what the children are learning. Our first event is the playground playdate on August 25th from 4:30-5:30. All of the five kindergarten classes will be there, so please be sure to introduce yourself and your child to me as there will be a lot of people on the playground! We will have a chance to talk more at the home visit which will be scheduled for August 27th, 28th, or 29th. You will sign up for a time slot at the playground playdate.
